That's correct - I tried that out and was like "wtf!?" when I noticed that an unzoomed M16 can do quite some harm to players not expecting that one would rather work out rate of fire and agility than rely on accuracy with this rifle...ChrisHXZS wrote:

The insane recoil when zooming with the m16 usually far outweighs any accuracy benefit that the zooming may give. This is the same with almost every gun in bf2.
