yeh I played a custom map with 3 friends, and we accidentally made the phase lanes uber long.

4 or 5 hours later and we had our first battles

Your screens aren't showing the good graphics, unless you have them turned way down? This game looks a TON better when you're actually playing it. You can actually see the ships that are on-screen whereas in Cowami's pictures, you can't really see much. Just a swarm of black.

RDMC: Enemy Wheelbarrow Spotted..!!; +736|6826|Area 51

I had a 5 hour game today, against 2 hard enemy's. Started off pretty decent, got 3 other planets + 2 asteroids, but then they started attacking me! Wow, never seen so many ships together, off course my fleet (16 Capital Ships, 50 Heavy thingies, 20 Flak Ships, 50 Light Frigates and 40 LRM Missle frigates) offered some resistance, but it was all down to my last 5 capital ships to save me. Meanwhile that other bastard army attacked my other planet in which I only had a few defences + Novalith cannons. So I regrouped everything that I had to one planet and lost everything else. Finally I had rebuild nearly everything, grand total of 150 ships. So I went out for planet hunting, captured another 2 + nebula and whaaam! they're back, again in such enormous numbers. I tried to bring them all back to make on giant force, but by the time most of my forces came back the ones that were already at my planet got annihilated, so now I am fighting 1 on 4 in ship difference. I lost

I am playing a huge game right now against like 9 other bots and I got Kicked out of my home star system and am now in complete control of a Star system consisting of 4 planets 3 asteroids and of course a star! building up my forces for a great crusade to take back my original home world.

Sorta, but better. Its not the 'Build a shitload of defences at one point so nothing can get through'. You are only granted a X amount of tactical (Defence) and Logistical (Buildings) slots. Once its full, you will need to capture a new planet to build more. You also need to conduct research to get more powerful ships, but that research requires more logistical buildings and those buildings require more slots, therefore you need to conquer planets.
