[Crysis] Help

I bought Crysis yesterday, and when I put the DVD in my DVD/RW drive it never loads properly. the wierd thing is that when I try on other computers it works just fine, so theres nothing wrong with the DVD disc itself. And there's also nothing wrong with my DVD drive, since I could load up both C&C3 and BF2 without any problems. It just Crysis that wont run, except for one time! Which is when I managed to install the game, but today when I wanna play it again it never works of course. So i tried downloading a NO-CD crack from Game Copy World (which I have downloaded cracks from before), But when I try to extract the crack fucking Symantec Norton Anit Virus Blocks the file telling me it's a trojan or some shit. (could it be?) Anyway, i managed to copy the crack.exe into the game dir and switch it with the original .exe. But when I tried to start the game Symantec blocked the file and deleted it. So now I have no .exe what so ever! And my fucking DVD doesn't start up so Im stuck!!

Please help me guys!

Had the same problem. Its some fuck up with the DVD drive, just gotta get a new DVD drive or decide not to play Crysis. I just took my old DVD drive and put it in this computer.

My dvd drive has trouble reading the disc too, it's slow but it works. Don't use a fixed exe though, PB will ban you for it. If you go down that road, use a mini-image and mount it with daemon tools (creating a mini-image yourself is possible too), it'll just emulate the disc.

Ok, so it seems like this is a problem that the crysis DVD disk is having with some types of DVD drives. The solution is to download the game and use your CD Key, or download a No CD crack. But after what I wrote in the OP, do you guys think it's safe to use the crack that I downloaded?

Ok, I've never done that, but I'll try. How can I get one of these mini-images? Although now the problem is that I dont have an .exe file anymore, since i replaced it with the crack and Symantec deleted it.

My Crysis disc also loads quite slow, but it gets there and plays perfectly.

I think I have that problem too, the LED light on the DVD drive just keeps on blinking and blinking.

Yeah. That what happened to mine. You would hear it attempt to spin up, then it would just stop. Tried 3 different Crysis discs. Just had to use different drive.

I think the samething happened to me with Call of Duty 4.

I had a hard time installing it, And when I put in the disk it did not want to run at all.

I always use MegaGames

Look on the right, there should be game fixes or pc trainers or something like that.

So take the DVD drive out of one of the otheres, take the DVD drive out of this one, and switch them. Ta Da it works.
