Looks a lot like Eve Online, except the planets are actually good for way more than just their moons.
And minus the monthly subscription!
(Though I still want to try EVE)
To be honest Eve got very boring quickly, considering you need to wait in real time for skills(seriously you have to wait days, not like 6 hours of grinding, nothing you can really do), but it was intresting, but I refuse to pay for it.
Anyways, never realized you could move in a third axis, played all the tuts and never sw a mention of that, not that its would actually help me at all, but eh. My first and only game(got wiped out in format
) I had most of my galaxy and part of another one, me and an AI completely wipied out two other cpus, I was already theleader of aspects(economy, military and empire) and then the bastard turned on me. His fleet was larger then mine though, and he was tearing me slowly to pieces with all the reinforcements. Wonder what owuld have happened
.
Game is pretty easy to learn if you have experience with the civilization games, or the companys other game, Galatic Civilization, or whatever its called. One tip I can offer is snatch planets as quick as you can, and try to get on everyones good side, then build your fleet up, but dont commit to any battles you don't need to. Then once at a good size start searching for the weakest enemy you can find and start stealing territory. The more resources flowing in, the faster you can expand, and the more you can crush.
