I remember playing this on my old 3DO (i bet no one even knows what a 3DO was, but it was the most kickass gaming console ever!)

It was a freaky, quiet, puzzle-like game where you had no interaction with people (afaik).

You where dropped in this town, empty, everyones missing, but you don't know why. All you do is go around, clicking things, most things unlock a new secret. It's a really weird game. If you can stand it psycologically, then you might be able to beat it.

I had it for Windows 98, but seeing as how I was 7 when I got it on some game disk that came with my computer, I had no idea how to play it.  In fact, I don't remember any part of that game except the main menu.

The people that made this game (Cyan) have their HQ about a block or two away from my house.

I remember it, loved it when it came out. It was way ahead of it's time I think, but admittedly not for everyone. I could never seem to get into any of the later versions. Anyone ever play them?

I remember its parody, 'Pyst' moreso than Myst itself.

But whatever happened to the 'fps' Myst? That had some impressive friggin' graphics for its day.

3DO? Wow, I didn't think you were old enough to have even heard of those. I was dying for one back when they first came out but it was waaaay too expensive.

I remember playing it. Dead boring if you ask me. Other adventure/mystery games caught my fancy, like Tex Murphy Under a Killing Moon and Bureau 13.
