How are these 2 games? Are they nice? Like a way to kill time and fun?

STALKER i absolutely loved, you can get really immersed in it. Its got a few rough edges, but I found it was one of my favourite games ever (SP)

Never played the movies so I cant say

Never played STALKER, but my mate has it and has played through it around 5-6 times now. It looks brilliant. I got "The Movies" played it for around 4-5hrs, then got incredibly bored and needed to shoot things. It is good if you like things like simhospital and RCT etc.

Stalker looked to be good, but actually playing it itsfar from fun.  Immersive?  Yes.  Good story/plot? Yes.  Niceenviorments and Openess? Yes again!  However, ever weapon in the game suffers from the inabilityto hit anything at any range. This makes the game outrageous difficult when theres no need for it.  If you enjoy reloading your last save 20 times in a row, go for it.  If the weapons didn't suck so hard, and they actually gave you something to spend your thousands of whatever the game uses as currency on it might actually have been fun.  But 6 hours in I had to stop playing it before I broke something out of frustration.

The Movies is a fun game, but the novelty quickly wears off when you relize the engines limitations, and eventully see how all the options blend together into generic  gameplay.  Fun for a few hours here and there, but once you beat the main game, no real reason to keep playing(unlike other tycoon/Sim games)

stalker actually has the most accurate ballistic engine of any game. Also if you get used to the guns and fire off only single shots at long distance then its easy to hit. Its about using the guns how they're meant to be used. You can spend your money on loads of stuff, thats what the traders are for. Me thinks you didnt actually know how to play

The Movies is very fun, but a bit slow at times.
