It's almost worse to be a Ranger fan than an Islanders fan. At least we know we suck. Ranger fans get all hyped up every year and it ends up being a disappointment.

Flyers won! They played like shit the 1st period, but after that they played solid. Sometimes I feel bad for Bob, our defencemen decide to play lackluster for a period and because of that, we let up stupid goals. I know its the Devils, but a win is a win and we scored more than two goals!

The Philly radio announcers brought up the Lighthouse Project (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lighthouse_Project). From what I'm reading, the project looks awesome, but it seems like it will never happen. If it does, you guys will defiantly draw more of a crowd and I would want to go to an Islanders game!

Damn, these Philly announcers are also making fun of your piss-poor attendance and they also brought up the fact that your leading goal scorer is a defenceman. They're also feeling bad for the Islanders organization as a whole, its making me feel sorry for you guys...

If the Isles leave, and that's a big if (honestly there's no economy left on Long Island) - I'd probably switch to the Bruins. I can't just switch to a Western Conference team.

They'd stand as the only Boston team I don't absolutely despise.
