They're the same. They also cost the same when you take into account things like Online Subscription and upgrade the 360 to a HD-DVD player so it's like the Blu-Ray and stuff.
It's down to the games. I've always like my Gran Turismo and MGS, so I'll probably get a Ps3. Most good games come on both though.

Personal Opinion.....
PS3 has the better hardware, but it doesn't use it as well as the XBOX360.
Currently, the XBox is better, but Playstation are fast fixing all their problems and making the PS3 better and better with their updates.

though xbox 360 has some hardware problems...it was introduced first while ps3 waited another year. in that timeframe, xbox whipped out it's free 1 year warranty extension, lots of good games, and wide variety of games(which made ps2 popular). I <3 my 360.
