Kind of a bit like guitar hero. That song "Dragonforce - Through the Fire and Flames" is fucking impossible, and it looks hard on this aswell.

By the way, to play your own custom tracks in the beta over and over again:

Start > Run

HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Audiosurf

delete the Audiosurf folder after uninstalling and removing the Audiosurf installation dir (default C:\Program Files\Audiosurf)

Re-install and enjoy, worked for me twice so far.

I think it lets you play two songs to the end, as I played 4 or 5


I gave it XOR-3DGalax on Expert, it was hypo.

Should have given it 'Diamond and got my "money's worth" out of it

I played 5 songs to the end....re-installed and deleted the registry, 5 more songs, re-installed and deleted registry, working again.

Well I jus got it off steam for about £5

Anyone know what time its released?

Watching a few videos on youtube, I noticed that it really didn't follow the music as closely as I would have thought. Anyone have any insight in to how it works or how well it actually follows the songs?

Yeah it is very annoying waiting for the release It said released today so I expected to wake up and find it I wish they'd release with soon so I can play a little before I have to go back to class and then work. But if not, oh well, it'll be waiting for me when I return home this evening


And to heggs: I think it just analyzes the big hits or loud sections of a song and puts an icon at that point. I think they did an excellent job though, especially when it comes to the climbing up hill or speeding down hill based on whether the song is building or releasing. Heck, at one part the road did a corkscrew!

I'm really excited for this mainly because I love music games (Frequency, Rez) and this one will have an infinite replay value.


UPDATE: It's released! Just restart Steam! Err at least I think it is... it's taking a very long time to download though, even though I had it all pre-loaded. Plus the news said last update was December 31, 1969. So release is imminent, just stick around. Ooh I can't wait to get this going

it follows the songs VERY closely. It's quite excellent.

Pretty cool downloaded the demo, buying the game now. Works out at about 6 quid bargain!
