yeh I kno voss tree sucks but for people starting to play the game in my option the best unlock for them to use is the voss

Use the Voss it gets you kills. You need to have some skill in the game to use any other gun. Or you cannot unlock it. And then just make another soldier after your k/d and spm sucked so bad from the first one that it would take forever to get higher than 2.

I went down the recon tree because I'm pro. Next is the Assault tree so I can medic whore...Now I just need to find a Karkand-esque map and I'll be set.

You make a mistake - weapon is 'noobish' not because it is uber, but because only noobs use it and it takes no skill to use this weapon. Thats G36E in BF2 , thats Voss L-AR in BF2142. Seeing skilled ppl with these guns is very rare.

p/s Krylov takes some skill - a little bit more recoil then Voss + lover mag capacity ( 30 rds vs 40 rds ). +, from my experience, Krylov's accuracy goes mad after long ( ~10-15 rds ) burst, while Voss is stable even if you fire all 40 rounds full auto.

Btw, can someone explain the new points system to me. I swear i get a kill and a revivie, and im only like 2 points up.

You only get one point per kill and one point per revive and the same with resupply and repair points as well. but you get loads of points per badge/pin/ribbon

Plenty is an opinion. Plenty bought the game in my opinion, but plenty don't play it. Once again in my opinion.

i think the recon is the most versatile, can kill infantry at long and short, APM to protect your back, and c4 to strap to cars or make a big bang

The trick is getting that close and not getting run over in the process. Nothing reduces vehicles to rubble faster than the Pilum. The lack of kick with the SMG's allow to you rape at short range. But yes, I do agree with you when you say that recon is better than engi versus infantry.
