ArmA. Despite some grotesque flaws and choppy control, it can be pretty epic.
BF2.i don't know any other game that's been able to suck almost 500 hours of my life away.
PR or ArmA. I haven't played ArmA but I've read descriptions and realism has always = more fun for me as far as modern combat themed games go.
Or historical combat. Red Orchestra is a prime example.

i like realism and i say PR, COD4 would be there but im rank 55 got everything no point in playing anymore AND i wish it felt alot like singleplayer on multiplayer because singleplayer is more fun really
