This game fails on a level i have never seen before! Everything about this game is worse then it's predecessors! I played and loved the original empire earth! Loved it! Everything about the game was awesome for an RTS! The expansion was okay but not as good as the game, Empire earth 2 to me was just a rise of nations rip off and i did'nt like it very much, But this this pathetic excuse masquerading as a game really takes the fucken cake! More bugs then bf2, Crappiest voice acting ever(The engineers main builders for the west sound like a bad cross between fake brooklyn accent and wannabe jersey mobster accent) The AI is beyond horrible, The graphics are a step back from the original game, Resource gathering is a bitch(Only 2 resources and both very hard to attain when you are attacking) And worst of all everything that made the original empire earth great! Was taken out or chopped to an extent i would have not expected to see in any rts game. The Hud is terrible, Too many confusing buttons, Too little information when needed. There are only 5 epochs(Granted i have only been in the modern age but it says so right in the screen after you quit) All this adds up to the worst rts i have ever played! Whatever happened to rick goodmans vision of a true successor to Age of empires? See this is why you should never give up creative control to anyone! Out of all the bad things there are it does have 1 redeeming factor for me. I did'nt pay for it! Because it's the demo! But thats still bad because i spent 2 hours dl'ing 1.6 gigs of utter shit! Stay far far away from this game and i do mean far! If you do spend the 50$ it will be the worst purchasing mistake you will make for an rts.

If you want a really good strategy game to play theres C&C3 or you can pickup the original EE for 10 bucks at a local game store.
