its so darn hard to get 100+ on af/ef maps....(well great wall isnt a real problem)
Sorry Steelie, I just got 128 on Road Rage last night. Didn't touch a jet or chopper.
nice work... just fraggin and capping flags huh? we have to hook up again on that map sometime. Road rage actually seems easy now, because i remember that round where we got close, i spent the first few minutes flying around wasting time... if i dedicate to the littlebird, i should be able to crush 100.
I'd also wrench. I love sitting on the side of the Scout Heli's and watching pilots that are far better than me waste the enemy.

Yeah I capped a ton of flags. It was me and another guy capping flags, he was a rookie but he did okay. We'd have like 3-4 people in jets at a time, it was nice not getting bombed, but the other team didn't have good pilots so they weren't much of a threat anyway. I would have preferred backup on flags. A lot of the time I'd go to cap or defend a flag and run into a whole squad. I died a lot, but that's the price you pay doing anything for the win. We were down almost (or maybe over) 200 at one point but made an incredible come-from-behind win. Executioner was a good team pilot. He'd put bombs anywhere I needed them and he racked up the kills as a result.

I know I've been out of it for a while (due to dental school responsibilities).........but when I was playing regularly, getting over 100 points per round was not difficult using either the A10 or the Littlebird.
Cable can probably attest to that.......while he did I believe twice down my A10 on Midnight Sun w/ heli TV missiles, we've played together enough that he's seen me score quite high, and I have seen him score quite high. It is far from undo able to get high scores on Armored Fury (though I seriously thought high scores simply weren't something you should expect when playing Armored Fury when I first experienced it.......it's all about experience and knowing the proper ways to get points).
As far as which is easier to get quick points in......I'd probably vote for the Little Bird. With the attached UAV and awesome miniguns....it is a kill machine......though it is often an easy target unless you have two dedicated engineers. What do I have the most fun in? The A10....probably because most players haven't the slightest idea of how to take me down. I can't tell you how many rounds I've played flying the A10 and remained completely untouched, despite the other teams most valiant efforts. I honestly think with the right tactics, the A10 is nearly unstoppable and a powerhouse of destruction (reference my A10 guide for some helpful hints...it covers most of the basics that will make you a decent A10 pilot). After all, how can you kill something you have no idea is coming, and no ability to see (all part of my tactics)?

yeah baby! road rage conquered... did this with the su-39 of all things. i had 99 pts with about 3 tickets left on the enemy team so i bailed out and capped overpass to break 100... only smoke screen left to go.

The AF maps were dead easy to get 100BRS's on. EF is a lot harder, except for Great Wall.
- RR I did tank whoring on like 8v8, and have then beaten that in the LB with a repair crew (141 on a full 64man server)
- Harvest I did loads of times with the LB, 190 being my best so far...which, again, was on a full 64man server
- Midnight Sun I also did tank whoring on a long round, but have since beaten it with the LB for a 141
Basically, get a few mates who will repair ur LB and you can get 100 so easily on all the AF maps. Its ridiculously easy.

im always looking to push the scores higher. cable showed me the LB is the way to go on the AF maps. i'd like to get higher on midnight sun, so i'll be playin the AF maps for a while.Snake wrote:

Well 100+ on Zatar is impossible as I don't have my own ranked server anymore and there are just no Zatar servers, or even servers that have it in their maplist, here in the EU.
yes, another difficult one. i got it with the mig, but its really just luck if you find a server playing zatar. =L1S= runs a full map rotation, i got a couple of br from them.3lmo wrote:

It's far from impossible to get 100+ scores on AF (as some other people have already attested too).....even 200+.

I'm yet to get 100+ on any AF map, don't think I ever will either after that gotland incident. WELL snake, I managed to get 100+ on taraba, I guess you either have it or you don't
