I could not find any previous post on where the TV missile crosshair is located on the HAP. Is it the same as the Super Cobra, or the Z-10, or the Hind?

Or is it different than those three?

Similar to the Z10/AH-1Z although it is slightly different.

Its definitly not like the SF helo's.

Try solo'ing a bit, line up a target and switch to TV view to see the exact location.

Hmm okay so it's further down than the Cobra but not as far down as the Z-10? I was trying to do the switch seat thing but with the whole autospin thing its hard to see excatly where the crosshair is.

I guess I could land on one of those oil storage containers on Smoke Screen and have half the heli hanging off so I could see the crosshairs location to pilots crosshair. Fook me why did I not think of that before?

Thanks anyway Snake

I believe the Tiger Hap gunner missile cross hair location are like the SF helicopters.

On OSS I usually have to hover much higher like the SF choppers for my gunner to effectively use the TV.

i hate it when people don't realize how low it is on the SF helis, and then yell at me because i dont shoot the missle.  i thought the hap was pretty even with the pilot view though.

I landed on the roof and exited to let the Tiger level to make these pictures:

The TV camera is a bit set off to the right.
You'll notice that as the machine gun moves into the view area from the left if you move the TV crosshair to the right.

I have not seen this shot for the HAP TV crosshairs anywhere else someone should sticky this or put in in the Wiki or something.

Hahaha, the good old autospin can't solo tv quote.
If you get the hang of it you'll use the autospin to your advantage in soloing

Ah actually I meant trying to get a static Screenshot while autospinning from the pilot to the gunner view it what I meant and impossible.

Like the post a few up from Globefish23 I wanted a shot of where the pilots crosshair is in reference to the gunners TV's crosshairs pretty much you can only do that while the heli isn't moving.

don't give away the good solo heli flies itself trick...

another thing that i hate about the hap is the up down range of the gun.  the thing is all but worthless unless you are circle strafing at a low altitude.  i didn't realize it until i was circling a flag, and my gunner wasn't shooting.  as soon as i was gunner, i found out why.

I already PM'd Snake to add it to this chopper guide in the Wiki which already has pictures like these for all the other helis:

Just thought mention - both of youtube video links said that video had been removed by user.

Cheers.
