Its not made by maxis though, EA own it, told maxis to get lost and got twisted mill instead so i'm not sure about it.
eh, still not impressive. I bet my wife's laptop could play it.....
I thought it would look like that, all 3D and stuff, not quite sure what to make if it yet though.

That fully 3D one where you're right by the road is the one made by EA, the other one I don't know, there's only 3 screenies I could find that relate to SC5000, the EA one is called Simcity Societies or something, so they might be two different games made by different groups.
