major problems>>pls help!!

whats up guys.tried searching the forum but couldnt find any topics on this.
basicly today my avg detected bf2142Pace.exe as a virus.like an idiot i moved it to vault then could not get the game to load properly after trying to restore the file.i uninstalled 2142 and then downloaded and re-installed it with ns off my ea-downloader.still having a problem playing tho,when i load the game up i get a message from ea downloader saying
The game cannot start.out of system resources.please reboot your computer and try again.
quite confused on what to do next.plss help :[

if one file is corrupted while downloading it the whole installation will go bad

edit: install with the av turned off

lol then again you might not want to listen to me cause I never faced this problem nor do I use ea down loader or have 2142 but you might want to listen to me cause I work well with computers

As for you issue, I would try unistalling AVG then reinstalling 2142 afterwards, I mean a full unistall of AVG,so it doesnt conflict with the install.

OK here is what to do, if you have all ready installed and you are still having a prob, totally uninstall, next get this prog called ccleaner, from www.filehippo.com its free and does not have pop ups, use the ISSUES button to clean any unwanted registry from your PC, do this a few times as it does not always pick up everything on 1st go, DONT WORRY IT GIVES YOU AN OPTION TO BACK UP B4 ITS CLEANS.... after this re-boot your PC but at the same time keep pressing F8 this will take you to an option screen, choose START PC WITH NETWORKING as you still wanna install using EA-DOWNLOADER, basically what this will do is start your PC with the BASIC APPLICATIONS, it will be slow whilst your install, but you will find that in the long run you will not have as many problems with sound,gfx, or general game play... i install all my new games this way, and thus far i have had only a few minor probs.... the worst prob i had was that i lived in a run down house in the country and a crew of fucking mice got in my PC and shit and pissed in it till it blew up my graphics card, any ways that another story, hope this helps some what
