BF2S Forums 2 things i hate about the sentry gun

no what i hate is that it never really kills like it should....it will shoot for days but will only kill one or two guys IF THAT before gettin blown up.

It announces your presence on the enemy titan before it has even seen you.

Im not sure if this will help your guys' dilemna's, coming from a guy who doesnt even have one (I steal kits. A LOT) but I found instead of putting it in places where they'd be running into, I'll put it in places theyre running from.  Primarily the titan amirite?  Put it in the corner, facing down towards your guys so when they run past it'll be in their blind spot (because they'll be lookin for noobs with zellers and Ganz) and they'll burn right past it hopefully and maybe you'll pick one up.

I dont know its worked for me, you could try it.

Pre patch they where decent enough, now they are alittle stupid, you have to place them so the target will be infront of it for age's before they will fire, on the titan, if someones laid a sentry in the door way to one of the top corridor's, you can almost run rite past into the core without getting hit.

The support class got a beating in the last patch, with the nerfing of the LMG's as well, however they may be making up for it with the clark this time round.
