Thought, that in order to be tracked, you had to register with the site first, for instance my friend who isnt registered doesnt show up, and when I check my state rank, I find no mention of several local friends that play with me. Dont think the statistics arent that accurate.

Germans don't have the highest values, check all countries on the page.

I don't know what makes a "player counted" to an "assessed player" (perhaps checking his stats with this page at least once?), but 244K out of 1,298K looks well for a representative statistic.

I guess the high number of (registered) german players is due to the popularity of this site which has a german version (.de) too since BF2. However BF and other FPS are quite popular over here.

But the given countries are not sure! While looking at the leaderboard or at a server I allways find a notable number of players with no flag beside their nicks. In addition some people want to hide theirself online (DerGraueWolf at BF2 was an American ) or pick an exotic nationality just for the funny flag or to be able to be a top player of a country.

canada is keeping up with germany, and thats no small task. im amazed we have that many players...our overall population is only 32 million. i guess we're more hardcore than i thought.

Not all players are taken into account for sure, on that site I rank 120 something in Canada, while I rank 143 on EA... but it's close enough
