Has anyone else had constant trouble with the 360?
I had mine last year and hardly used it, but when i did either games wouldn't work, the tray wouldn't eject the disc or i could play for a while then i got a disc error.
I purchased a new wireless modem and the 360 wireless adaptor, couldn't get it working. Rang the help line and they had no idea. In the end my brother set it all up and it worked. So next day buy XBox live, get in, the connection had dropped and i had lost all my settings.
So i think fuck it and not use it. The other day got it out for a quick thrash and the green light turns to 3 red ones. I read this is a common problem and it needs repairing. I spent a week ringing help line, and never got threw.
I had won another 360 at work which i was going to sell, so i tried it with my hard drive and had a quick go make sure it works. It was fine for 10 mins then surprise surprise disc error.
I paid £280 for console, £55 for modem, £60 for wireless adaptor, £40 for x box live and NONE work!!
This is by far the worst money i have ever spent on anything, you pray the game actually works, then that it will eject, and then that the console doesn't completely burn out. Support is crap and very hard to get hold of and it all costs a lot of money.
Am i just unlucky or have others had some many of these problems?
