Perhaps an ill-advised move, but I swallowed my pride and bought Euro Force and Armoured Fury today. It was only ten dollars, but I hate the thought of EA with my money. A little regret, but I wanted to try Euro Force.

I was unprepared for the small population of Euro players, but it was enjoyable. I played one game on the most populated server, of eleven people. Won a bronze star. Certainly, it was fun using the HK53A1, but I ask why no more play these servers? I'd just like to hear some responses to certify the lack of players.

if you play the week-end, you'll see EF servers are very well populated. Last week-end, I couldn't even play on "Euro force ranked server" since it was full... so it all depends..

Congrats on buying EF and AF, I'd say it's a good choice. Great Wall rocks and nothing beats fresh air in Amish Country.

=SF= and the Euro Force Ranked Servers are the best for EF.

Although playernumbers are down atm due to exams anyway.

You'll notice that EF & AF sift out even more jerks and noobs than SF does.

Yes, on the weekends there generally are more EF & AF running, as the probability to get a decent player count during the week is to low.

I recommend these servers located in America that I have played on:
Packet Loss's 24/7 EF
Heartbreak Ridge AF/EF
=SF= Armored Fury 24/7

I also like playing on the 101st Corps Armored Fury server. Most of the time it's good, but there have been a few times where it's been absolute shite.

Agreed ! All 3 are well populated. Remember not to rape uncap on Heartbreak Ridge or you'll get banned like I did [Got 1 time get outta jail free chance].

Yes, for persistent EU teamswitching and uncap raping with tanks (esp Great Wall).
Somebody complained about you on packets forum, then an admin saw you doing it and you got yourself banned.
You can get unbanned, but it will be your last chance. Request it over at www.packet-loss.com

well tbh I saw something on their forum about packet loss server admins getting an eye on you cause you were accused of base raping with a tank by a guy.. although I don't know whether this is the true reason or not but anyway you can ask packet loss to unban you.. but after being unbanned you won't get another chance, so be advice
goto their forum and ask them.

you should try not to baserape.. I'd also like to pilot my heli till enemy uncap and let my gunner has some kills but I don't wanna be banned from one of the only EF server (which is the best with the =SF= one)

Exactly. Considering I (used) to play on TV2 a lot where its all legal, its hard not to baserape. But I have to say that the games on packets server are actually better because of it. Rather than raping a PLA uncap we all just garrison the wall with AT kits

Exactly. Thats the point. So does everybody else. And it ends up with 30v10 in the EU's favour, and half of those MEC/PLA wont even spawn because they cant be their precious EU. The persistent EU teamswitching is what kills the booster.
Its like teamswitching on Wake to PLA every round. Lame, pathetic and for 10year old kids. As far as Im concerned, Packet needs to kick/ban more people for it. Phrozenbot used to, he was a legend on ST6

I noticed that in the ingame rules. Teamswitching gives you a kick (or ban, not sure) and if you're banned it's permanent. Better keep them on your good side as there aren't too many EF servers around.

EA dropped the ball on EU service medal and the 50 hours requirement... Should have been something like 75 hours on theater... Would have solved the teamswitching problem...

It was funny as fuck been baseraped in Mec uncap by 3 generals and shitload of Colonels/Majors...

Operation Smokescreen and Great Wall are one of the best maps in BF2

EA should have kept the Euro Service ribbon with a 25h or 50h theater time as requirement.
That way you could have worked towards that requirement with PLA and MEC half of the time.

No, you will stop doing that NOW.

Frankly, I don't know why you teamswitched on Packetloss' server anyway, as he has randomized team each round. I happened to be on the Euro side 3 times in a row without switching.
