Anyone got this game??

I thought it looked pretty cool, I mean being a hobbit and running around Middle Earth, what more could you ask for??

But at the same time, it has a monthly fee, which is going to put me off. But if it is amazing, maybe you coule make me change my mind?

just buy the lifetime subscription its only $200 thats what I did but thats because I have to work everyday so I rarely get a chance to play.

Well, crap. I had a beta CD from my PCG mag, but when I decided not to play it, I bank shot it off the wall into my trash can. It didn't work after that.

I may just pick this thing up later this summer when outdoor work slows down...if it still has an active playerbase. But right now, I've bought about 6 titles, 4 of which are still in shrink wrap. Too busy.

I just can't comprehend purchasing a game for fun, and maintaining an additional monthly payment just to play the damn thing. The amount of beer money people throw away on games like WoW, etc. just brings me to tears.

Haha I know what you mean.. I've never played a monthly fee and don't think I'm going to, even if it does ahve Hobbits, Elves and crazy living trees... ahh sounds so tempting!

The lifetime subscription does sound good, if I plan to play for over a year that is, to make it worth the money. I don't think I want to tie myself to a game for that long though, as real life really can be quite good. Might just pay for a month and have a piss about on it.

Ahhh good old Guild Wars. I went through a serious phase of that about a year ago. Was a great game, especially the whole intergration of the Guilds in to the game overall. Was great to have people to speak to in your Guild all the time, to help with quests and do Guild Battles and all that. And the Guild Halls, I remember them being a laugh to, especially when a load of people from your Guild were there.

I was reminiscing like this about it a few months ago and bought Factions, and barely played it at all... I better stop now before I buy Nightfall or whatever the latest one is called.
