The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

I got tired of the dust coming in from the holes in the side and front, so I taped a pillow case over them.

Why do you keep buying GTX295s if you just end up replacing them with the X800?

Not a mod and they aren't that bright, it just glares like a fucker on my camera for some reason.

You can do better reaper, but better. But its not like anyone will see it because your case doesn't have window and they don't affect airflow.... Still do it, do it naooo

That's as good as I can get without longer/shorter SATA cables.

When doing cable management, my guideline is to make is look at neat and minimalistic as possible. The less chaos in the wires, the less random the path of air from the front of the case to the back; hence better airflow. For example, grab the front panel wires (lights/switches and audio/usb if possible), zip tie them together and try to keep them together for as long as possible. Same idea as what you've already done with the 24pin power brick and the PCIe power. The front panel fan power could probably sneak behind the HDD drive bay, provided you can slip the connector between the front panel and the drive bay.

In general, try and make everything invisible. The less wire you can see when you look at the open side of the case, the better airflow will be.

At the LANs I usually go to, everyone has a case that has "gamer" or "LAN Monster" in its name and about 17 different CCFL/LED bricks in it, and they all say its fucking wonderful. Yet, my P182 has none of the above and usually garners most attention because it's clean. Next time I can, I'll get another picture because that's dirty compared to after I put a bit more time in to it.

May I make a few suggestions?

The most important thing is that you bundle wires together. Instead of having 6 wires all loosely laying there, cable tie them so it is one bundle. Your FP connector wires are just kind of dangling there, cable tie them. The red SATA cable on the bottom is very very ugly, especially with the loop. What I would do is try to tuck it behind the 3.5" bay and then have only enough visible to connect to the mobo. You could bundle that with the other FP wires too. Same goes for the grey SATA on the bottom.

What you should really do is take your motherboard out and make a few holes in the motherboard tray so that you can route the wires under it and have them pop up where they need to be plugged in. That's the cleanest way.

Looks better than the first pic though.

EDIT: @Defiance: That's pretty nice. The only thing I don't like is the few stragglers in the top left, and that bent molex from the ODD (not much you can do there though).

tbh reaper, its not like you are going to be showing it off in a museum or that anyone would see the insides even at LAN party because your case doesn't have window like mine, so just go gaming bitch <3

I could improve my cable management a bit but because effects on airflow are none and its pretty tidy already, (you can't really expect to get on same level as modular PSU with solid cable one) cba to do that knowing I keep changing HW so often doing overkill cable management overy 3 weeks doesn't sound great idea.

Here you can see the my cables totally exposed. With sidepanel on you can see only the motehrboard tray area + the PSU. Moved the cablemess from top to behind mobo tray and from 5.25 bay to the unused HDD cage. Out of sight, out of harassing my airflow.

(the fan wire going over the mobo is yet to be hidden. CBA to do that since its the first to go anyway when I get new graphics card.)
