Actually one of the bests programs in Canada were put in place while there was a minority parlement.

It forces parties to work together and find common ground to approve new laws/programs and give a better reflection of Canada. I don't mind a minority parlement as long as it doesn't last for ever like in Italy.

Um, what military technology does the US rely on that originated in Canada? Guess you forgot that all those CF-18s the RAF flies are American designed. :p Besides, the best combat pilots in the world are US Navy and Marine pilots. You try landing a 20 ton hunk of metal onto a bucking aircraft carrier in the middle of the night.
