For those who are interested there is a multiplayer demo available for Stalker
you can download it here:

Mirrors (it's splitted into 10 files sometimes so i'd recommend using the links below)
Stalker MP Demo (might have to try several times)
Torrent

afaik it is lan only but you can use Hamachi to play online

yes
but got noone to play with so far so it was just me on an empty lan server hehe

It keeps crashing on me... god I hope vista can run this game.

This is what happens when i try to play the single player:

Some servers show up on multiplayer, but they are all empty and i cant join any of them.

How do i get this demo to work?
