I did. I think it was the best in the series. It had a huge amount of variety. Really cool weapons and tools. Lots of cool features (NVA tunnels, the first "squad beacons"). It had all sorts of vehicles. The NVA transport helo and the US PT boat were mobile spawn points. So what are all of your opinions?

It was good once you loaded PoE on top of it.
But I agree BF Vietnam had some good qualities, but I could not say it was the best in the series.

I loved that game, I still play every once in a while. The thing is, when I got a new computer and reinstalled, I didn't have any patches, and I have no clue where to get them, so I cant play with other people.

I am with ya man. It is too bad when a new game comes out everyone throws away the old ones.
I actually still have that and 1942 and have thought about installing them.
Stats ruined it all. No one is playing because you get no points.

POE was awesome. I loved flying the F-22. I loved dropping napalm too (regular BF:V).

BFV was a great game indeed. When people talk about the BF games they always forget about it, even though it is as fun as any of them. The one think I didn't like though was the AKMS, it felt overpowered and I remeber it would kill me more often than anything else. But it was still a great game.
what about the original noob tube - the CAR-15 with the grenade launcher at the end.

I only played that game at a friend's, but man do I love it. I was tempted to pick it back up, but according to the BFV website not very many peeps still play it.
I still play it, but it lags anyway.

BF:V was the shit! It might have been a bit buggy at first but, *gasp* the patches actually improved it rather than destroyed it.
I play 1942 but im thinking of geting bfv.
I just downloaded POE for BFV, I think it fucking owns. The AH-64 is great, the F-22 is great. I was in the A-10 the last few seconds of the round and didn't get to test it out, but I think that EA should add the grappling hook that's on the black hawk to the helicopters on the BF2 choppers, it would be very useful.

But really, I like being NVA or Vietcong better. All their toys just made me so happy . Caltrops, bouncing betties, vehicle booby traps, pungie sticks, and that sexy beat up AK-47 .
fucking loved it, specially since you could choose your own music for veichles.

Fantastic game, racked up at least 300 hours on it in one summer(took me a year and a half of BF2:P) but the bane of my existence was the insane baseraping made possible by your local M-I8 pilot...I still have nightmares
I loved the radio feature.......... and the game was fun too
