cod2 is a great game. i own it for both xbox 360 and PC. i like the pc version better because of modding though.
As sad as it is... I'm still trying to beat the game ever since it came out (I play on Veteran). I keep getting stuck on missions for the Americans. I'll get pissed off at repeatedly dying over and over, I'll screw off and won't touch it for a couple weeks. Pop it back in couple weeks(or months later) and then have the same thing happen to me.
its a good game though overall, you should get it

I just finished CoD3 on the 360, and it feels EXACTLY like 2. No change, aside from the gay user interface.
COD3 realy needs to come to PC.
CoD4 is PC only, with a possible modern conflict setting.
I personally have played CoD competitivley since it came out, and was once a very good player, mainly Tactical Realism - much more difficult than normal. My hard drive crashed and since then I've rarely played.

i might install CoD2 again...wonder how good the new mods are....
