I will have to join the game previous to the game beginning because of the new computer map-loading issue:

I load up a server and it stop half way (Not frozen still loading) And takes about twenty minutes to start loading again then i join the game. After that 20 mins from then on every map load or round is loaded in 10-15 seconds... If anyone knows anything which may help to stop that 20 minute pause, i would be eternally greatful.


Oh and - Looking forward to the event. If i'm accepted to join: Slayer: Reporting for duty.

Stone age p4 2,5 ghz with 1 gig ram. Thats why. Titan maps arent playable for me with 40 people on. Even when i m on the ground i m lagging like crazy. So i m sorry but i cant play in the event.

1Gig or RAM , might get another. Not happened on old rig - 512Mb RAM - Yes it is my new rig that has the problem - And i'm going to change quite a few of the settings to medium because most of them are set at high.

EDIT: Changed settings, to nearly all Medium instead of mixed High/Medium. It loads up in about 15 seconds now I have optimized shaders...

Wait... If it's going to be event (aka. locked server and stuff) we can't have it ranked, it's against BFROE... And if we keep the server open, every single player will try to invade it, so I would say it has to be unranked.

EDIT: Those dates won't fit me at all btw...

With the 8800GTX go at least with 2048MBs fast RAM, better add another 2048 Then you´ll have no problems to run everything maxxed, just like your wonderfull leader

Yep that should do it..  No delay here with my 8800GTX,  I have 2 gig of DDR2 and run BF2142 all on Full with 16xAA and 16AF.

Well, count me in as of now (if you still need people). I'm not sure what my schedule will be like just yet though (especially with the time difference). Other than that, I think our server should start running titan maps; make sure you girls are in practice.
