Now I am white and I listen to all Kinds of Music but I dont like RAP, CW, or Opera. I listen to just about everything, from Blues to Rock to Classical. and I remember something that was said about DOn King and Mike Tyson and that was that King only deals with black fighters and he makes sure that they all hate Whitey, which I feel that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are probally just as big of racist if not more, but the question that I am wondering about is not just if your Black, but if you are black how many of you listen to something other then RAP.{IE: Dont like RAP}?

I hate rap it's just terrible. However, Beastie Boys are pretty good since some of their songs are basically rock songs where the guys jam out but the Beastie Boys are just rapping along. Hip hop is different, I still hate any modern hip hop, but classic hip hop is sick. The Clash had some awesome hip hop songs, back when it used to be cool...

Sry but i've never liked rap, I like almost all music but definitly not rap. I can't get the hang of it when i hear it.
The problem with a lot of people is stereotyping rap. They think all rap is the kind of stuff you hear on the radio. I am a big fan of rap but some of the stuff I hear on the radio is just stupid and I can see where the stereotype of bitches, money, guns comes from.
Listen to some real rap prefferably some older one or by Eminem or other rappers and you will see that some of their songs arent just radio jingles but they have some actual meaning to them.

I hate how all rap sounds and I can not STAND to listen to an entire song. IMO 98% of it takes no skill at all (recording a 5 second beat and then talking about how you killed 50 "niggas" is not music). There are a few rap artists that I recognize for having talent, even though I dislike the music.
For me, It's all about the death, viking, and folk metal.
I voted yes, but it's because of the dominance of "bad" rap music. I dont think that hearing a guy brag about him sleeping with 3 billion hoes and then whining about all the STDs he got is entertaining. But there is some rap music I find tolerable, since I'm not a raplover, I say tolerable, not like.
