I really don't remember mine that often anymore, I used to remember them all the time. Nowadays they either have to be something significant or I have to wake up on my own instead of my mom nagging me about shit, then it all just disappears
Had one of those disaster ones last night. Start off with some sort of seaside carnival/airshow, where the planes were actually shooting at each other, then moved into a hurricane. Hurricane ends and people start cleaning up. What I thought was a tornado building turns out to be a smoke plume from...something. Next thing, big explosion and fire starts running downhill using the road as a channel. So everybody's trying to outrun it. I managed to get uphill and then discover part of it is starting to slip away. Woke up at that point and found myself hanging over the edge of the mattress.
Last night i dreamt about some kind of revision company. It was weird, my mother was really plugging for me to apply there alongside university. That wasn't the weird part, the weird part was everyone was sat in office style cubicles revising but they all had some kind of workout device in one hand. Like you would spin this device around and it would require some amount of physical effort correspondent to how difficult of a time you were having revising a particular subject. I was just walking around, spinning this shake weight esque type thing watching random people/people from my past doing the same. Fucking weird, and it was massive as well when I tried to leave and get the fuck back to my manual labour job. Odd...

First part of the dream involved an old Victorian train station that suddenly burst into flame, along with everyone next to me. Second part I was on an airliner, the cabin of which then burst into flame. Fire chasing me seems to be a running theme as of late.
I can maintain a dream while waking up several times in the middle of it. I first noticed this while being lazy and hitting the snooze button on my cellphone a few times. I will stay awake for 20 or so seconds before slipping back into the same dream. I had 2 dreams last night.
1. The dream I had tonight was bizarre. I was with a girl who was Pakistani and was eerily similar to the last Pakistani girl I was with and broke up with last month. In the dream I met this girl and was hanging out at my place alone. I tried to sleep with her and she told me she was a prostitute. (???) She said she wanted $500 to sleep with me. I gave her $800. (?!) I slept with her and afterward went home. A buddy I haven't seen from high school was in a sleeping bag on the floor by my bed and had been staying with me. I told him the story and he went to and saw her. I later went and saw her and went over to her place and met her brothers who were hanging around at a dinner table. They were my age or older and they looked intimidating. I went to her room and she said "this time is free". I slept with her again. And then went home. My buddy was there and told me the same thing happened with him and I was jealous. I went to bed and when I woke I saw this hanging over my bed.
Instead of of food though it had a "Casey and her relationship status" Casey 3, Frank 2. I went to her and didn't mention anything about my friend but tried to sleep with her again and she refused. Said she wasn't feeling right. I even offered her money and she wouldn't. And then I woke up.
2. I was filming a movie with Randy Couture, Dan Henderson, and Tom Cruise. It was a star wars movie. We all had light sabers and were in this dark industrial room with metal grat floors and steam coming up through them. Then we saw Darth Vader and Tom Cruise went to fight him. Cruise got his head cut off but the head was still talking to us and it said "Frank it is your turn".
What do these mean?!

If you want put an effort into retention, you can start by keeping a bedside journal or a laptop to jot down what you can remember before it fades away and occasionally skim through it. I think this could help.
Just because you don't remember dreams well doesn't mean other people can't. I don't remember all of mine, but the ones I do I can recount in vivid detail, if not chronological accuracy. Especially with the recurring ones, which I can jump back and forth to at will.13/f/taiwan wrote:

I was going back on the pages of EE out of boredom and randomly saw it 20 pages back.

I had a dream that was like a movie. It even had Arnold Schwarzenegger. It would be a good real life horror movie.
So there is this guy who is walking on a winter night and is attacked by an unseen vampire.
The vampire then attacks his girlfriend in her winter cabin at night. She is saved by Arnold Schwarzenegger vampire hunter. The vampire is a lady vampire who looks like the Vampire lady from Blade 3.
The lady and Arnold try to fight the vampire throughout the night. Arnold tries to protect the lady and instead gets killed and eaten by the vampire. The lady then discovers the vampire and Arnold's eaten body. She breaks down and cries while the vampire walks over and lays next to her. The vampire is too exhausted and full to attack her. While they are both sitting there the vampire lets her guard down and the girlfriend quickly picks up a stake and jams it into the heart of the vampire killing her. That is where the twist ending happens:

The lady vampire as it dies transforms into the lady's boyfriend. The vampire was her boyfriend the entire time!
