Does punkbuster save the prefix or type them in when they report stuff? If not then someone just created a new account with his full name including the prefix, took a simple hack and after he got banned he deleted the character only making so the real simon is left.

If someone made an soldier with the name [FG]SimonMoon Without prefix, then one you can use as clantag wich is changeable and doesn't count in when you gonna search for a player by name. The person used the full name and after he got banned he deleted that character so no one upset EA would be able to find out. So if punkbuster doesn't add the prefix to the name Simon moon is right that he had nothing to do with it.
Actually one way to prove that is the same person would be to look at the IP addresses, I know (or atleast I think I do) that the mods here can see IP's, so if Simon's looks somewhat like this:

Then that's another tick in the box in the favour of PB, if it's not then it matters little as changing your IP is easy but it'd still work in Simon's favour.

In the PBSS, the name is "[FG] SimonMoon" (prefix). Not "[FG]SimonMoon" (part of name). I don't know who's the real one. Just "evidence" of whatever.
