I m up for a game tonight, at what time will you be playing?
I don't normally get on until 21:00 UK time but if I can get on earlier I will. I'll keep an eye on the server earlier and pop in to help get it started but leave once going.
Idling to help get the game started would be cool. Ill be on at around 1930cet, if you could idle on it around that time that would certainly help me try and get the game started.

yeah, what's up with that ? I finally had a couple of hours of spare time last night, but was unable to connect to the Master Servers, BF2 or BF2142. Stupid EA. I know they run scheduled maintenance every monday at 12am PST, but for so long ? It certainly seemed more than 3 hours.
I finally gave up and watched TV instead...
Maybe it'll work tonight.

I thought it was tuesday morning for maintenance.

Yesterday I had planned to maybe get my promotion.. But couldn't log on.. but I did notice many people on xfire who were loged on and who could play.. I asked a guy to try and log on and he did just fine..
[edit] ok... just tried.. same as yesterday.. I can log in just fine.. but when I select a soldier.. I get disconnected..

well, it says on the EA BF2 page "regular scheduled server maintenance monday 12 AM PST", which I interpreted as monday at noon, because of the server downtime yesterday around 19:00 hours german time. That is roughly noon PST.theDude5B wrote:

On a different note, I don't think they'd make one of their Sys-Admins stay up that late just for some maintenance.
But if the two events were not interconnected, 12 AM PST could certainly mean midnight between sunday and monday.
jeez, I wish the US would finally transfer to the 24 hour system, like their military has. drop that stupid am/pm shit. who needs it anyway ?
