no seriously, the key I use for cheats in ROme doesn't work

no, I did not use cheats once so far

I own at making money I had 7 mill in rome and an income of 50000

I started as Sicily yesterday they own! almost...

Did anyone try the TotalRealism mod for RomeTW ?  Using their full-on history-nerd skills the TotalRealism people redesigned the whole game adding in new historically accurate factions (eg. completely did away with the bogus 3 Roman fueding families), created realistic units, added in many more cities etc. They also altered the gameplay so that you have to colonise a new city and alter the culture of the place before you can recruit reliable units.  Gave the whole thing a much more authentic feal and made it much more satisfying - you couldn't just build huge armies and bulldoze your way around the world. 

I was wondering if the TotalWar people had learned anything from them to make Medieval 2 more historically legitimate.  What do you think?

that first one could have been a much better victory but mike had a to big unit scale and I laged like hell

the host grants you some money and you can choose your troops...
that's where I mad my mistakes, I had an army with way too much heavy infantry... almost no chance to counter mounted crossbowmen and cannons.
Played too much Rome in the past where heavy inf > all

Im finished a short campaign off 120 turns with England, I took 20 provinces and had like 60,000 gold, im so glad they made it easier to make money in this game.

Holding towns is easy just spend all your spare gold on happiness things and your upkeep should only need to be like 300 gold for each town thus netting you a huge 2000+ profit were city. Then you have like 3 castles best on your front line and just churn out the best army u can and attack attack attack until its so small you can use it to defend conquered provinces.

Gotta say i love this game.

that money strategy works if you have the best provinces... and I think it's harder to get money in this game then in rome... I miss my 500000 profitt :'(

in game chat, a bit complicated though...
