By how you personally felt in the countries you have visited. It's about opinion.usmarine2007 wrote:

You're opinion is that this is a stupid question for example.
But who here has been to all those countries? I have been to most, but not all. So can you possibly decide?Gawwad wrote:

Well, that is my point. I lived in Hawaii, a big vacation spot for Aussies. I even dated a chick from Australia who lived on Oahu. All I ever heard was, Aussie men are assholes who beat their women. I heard that from a lot of Aussie chicks. Is this true? I doubt it. But who knows. Since I never lived there, or spent a significant amount of time there, I have no right forming an opinion of how nice or not nice the people are.Jinto-sk wrote:

I voted on US based on my experience between 'in-person' experiences with my country, Canada, and the 'purely-online' interactions with these and citizens of other countries. The nicest people I've seen whose nationalities are known to me come usually come from Aus, NZ, Ireland, US, Canada and Taiwan.

Each citizen of the posted country will undoubtedly, through their sense of nationalism, vote for their own respective country. Most likely, I said.
My vote? I don't think any one country has the nicest people. Each group has its exceptions. There are groups of nice people in all the countries.

Brasil has the nicest people I've ever met. I was inclined to pick Holland because I just think they're cool, but they could be assholes like other europeans probably are. POint is, I've never been there so I didn't vote fairly. Point is, unless the readers of this poll have been to the many countries of this earth (193 countries?), it'd be quite hard to get a fair opinion.
You are right to a degree. As opinion is just that, you don't need to have been to many countries, it just makes an opinion an uneducated one (I'm not referring to yours, just in general) and as you said, an unfair one.IRONCHEF wrote:

Once people have decided though, it is very hard to change their minds. As a South African Premier once said to a reporter: "I have already made up my mind, don't try to confuse me with the facts" (he was not a very nice man).
I don't want to toot my own horn but....{tooting/honking noises}
Exactly, most people here know of the country by sterotypes, i doubt every one that has voted has spent the time in each country to get to know the poeple and thus judge them on how nice they are. Its nearly impossibleusmarine2007 wrote:

~ Do you not know that in the service … one must always choose the lesser of two weevils?
Why do some people say Sweden? We might have hot chicks, but we're unfriendly as hell
Out of the countries I've been to I'd have to say Jordan had the nicest people by far. They'd give you the shirt off their back if you really needed it. Germany would be up there too. Worst: France (in particular - Paris).

You can't say Canada when your excluding Quebec. Quebec is a large part of canada.Turquoise wrote:
I'll say Canada. I have to admit that my experience in communicating with Canadians is limited, but most of the ones I've spoken to have been friendly.
Note: When I say Canada, I'm not including Quebec. Though I've met some friendly Quebecois, I've met more that were rude.
Switzerland - You don't attack them, and they won't attack you.
Do the quebecois consider the rest of Canada as such?
That could always mean they are stuck up, too. Like upper class society excluding the rest of the lower class world.FrankieSpankie3388 wrote:

I would have to go with the Vatican if it counts...no murderers or war starters in there. (especially under Pope JP II)
People are not nice by country... there are crappy and good people in every country.
Iceland or Switzerland (Go Schweiz!)
