BF2S Forums Why the fuck...?

I haven't played for probably 7-8 weeks, so I decided to get on last night ... and .. there was only one server.  Gah!

Fortunately, I had good ping to it and it was fairly full.

Still, I love POE ... the squadwork is SO much better than BF2.

And ... with the new patch, *gasp* they included a new map, right?  At least I've never seen the "Spies Like Us" map before (winter version of Fallen).

Why Did POE die? Ill tell you! First off the release of 2142. People would rather gather stats than lay a game that looks better and plays better than BF2 or 2142. Second off lack of compatition support, Less competitive teams less support. My team plays and CAL had to cut the season short due to lack of intrest. Also previously in the post someone said the mod had been out 3 months, how long do mods last. Well if you ever played Desert Combat that mod lasted about 2 yearrs competitivly it also had more people playing than Vietnam or Vanella BF1942. If you were to log on today there are still servers full of DC. So dont try and say mods dont last long. If it wasent for stats POE would be Alive. Look at Counterstrike that was a mod for Half Life in 97 or 98 and Valve bought the developers out and now they own the rights to the most popular FPS worldwide.

I didn't like the maps. Too dark.

Clearly. Sambir is definately too dark. Not to mention Dnister and Dnipro. Oh and Guardian. All of those are too dark.

Just wait for the release with the city maps. jilted has some orgasmic city scapes in the works.
