How do i get poe2 to work?

i downloaded poe2 onto my computer, what now? do i have to extract it or put it into a certain file? plz help.( ive tried extracting it and it freezes my comp.)

Put the exe and map map pack in the same location (on your desktop, in a folder, etc) and run the .exe. Do not try to extract the map pack as it will install when you click the exe.

Ok I down loaded it i right clicked and pressed extract all, now when i go into the the new folder there is a box looking thing. i double click it and it says i didnt download poe 1.0.00. or something like that

Thats probably the mappack. There should be two files, an installer and a .cab file. They both need to be in the same folder lcoation. Once they are in the same place, run the .exe. DO NOT TOUCH THE .cab. It will be installed automatically by the installer.

I downloaded, extracted the zip, in the folder is the .exe and a map .cab
after the installation everything works EXCEPT there are no maps?

any ideas?
