That's more than I spent on my last desktop O.o
We can't get that here though, the 3008WFP is the only "big" monitor dell sells here...

My Dad can sell it (and anything else from HP, ASUS, Apple, etc), I got it for nothing close to that price. It was still 2-3 times more than most people spend on their monitors though. My room is practically a cinema lol.FloppY_ wrote:

My current Samsung T200 is all I need when it comes to size, anything bigger than 20" is too much for me...
I'd rather get a 37" Samsung HDTV along with my T200 and then run dual monitor on them bitches
But yeah, if you can afford it that dell is a fucking beast... I'm amazed that the 30" monolith has a respons time of 8ms...

where's the benefit there?
#1 - Having a "real" HDTV has it's benifits since it can be used fully as a TV without turning your PC onMiggle wrote:

#4 - PROFIT

I can plug in a TV feed as well and switch to that with one press on the touch buttons on the right. I have a 22" Samsung 226BW for another monitor if I need it
I took this picture last week, and now I'm using it as my wallpaper.

Looks like Trillian and WMP does that automatically when you play a video (or at least it should on Windows 7)FloppY_ wrote:

And the media player is just WMP. I guess the text may be misleading - I wrote that later in photoshop while blurring my contact list (that is not a feature )
