They are ususally in those Mess hall looking buildings, usually laid out on a table. Not sure about some of the other maps.
Theres one on a Farmish type map i cnat think of the name, lots of weat etc. play as Ukarain and its under the stairs of the windmill at your spawn.

LOL firing that thing probably has as much recoil as the pistols ?? Here's its real world cousin - http://world.guns.ru/sniper/sn56-e.htm - notice the tube pointing backwards ? that's to incinerate sneaky buggers... people working on there knife stats

You will find it in or near buildings. As example in the "Clocktower" (don't know the name of the map).

Its called the NTW-20mm, IRL it is an anti-tank weapon, in POE its a suped-up sniper rilfe.
In most maps there is an armoury building where you can find the anti-material rifles, handheld surface-air missiles, and a better anti-tank weapon. Look around in the main base.
Look a the main bases, thats where most of them are.
So what you guys are saying is there are hidden rifles on any givin map in BF2. I don't understnad why hasen't this come up before? I've been all over most of these maps and i've never found a hidden gun.
