not ashamed to say i've never been to /pol/. why would i? i read actual books about politics. or should i say i'm a brainwashed victim of the 'MSM'
yes, i'm sure this whole thing was a plot to trigger world war 3 on the part of the USA.
My problem with that nonsense is that the media is now working themselves up about it so they can band together next time and refuse to cover it so that they won't hurt their candidate again. I've seen multiple hand-wringing articles about how they regret writing about the emails and their contents because it helped Trump. I predict that if it ever happens again it will just be waived off as right wing conspiracy nonsense.Finray wrote:
Obama says the Russians hacked the DNC to release emails to influence the election, despite Assange saying “Our source is not the Russian government.”
IT WAS THE RUSSIANS!! They released these emails depicting corruption to influence the election! .. let's just ignore the actual content of the emails...
I'll see if I can dig a few up, I only keep 3 days worth of articles in my cache.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:
can you link me to some of this hand-wringing? I don't read much internet news so I'd love to get a little laugh

Holy shit, do you even read what you type? You think a billionaire with a track record of fucking people over wants to become prez because he's all "for the people"?Finray wrote:

Trump at least gives the impression of patriotism, whether or not that's actually true remains to be seen.

Do you? Notice the word "impression"? Notice the phrase "remains to be seen"? I have my doubts.Jaekus wrote:

If I'd been a Russian tax-payer and he'd been leeching off my hard won wages I think I would have probably shot him myself.
Good riddance, you entitled socialist piece of crap. You deserved it for stealing from hard-working citizens when you could have been a corporation.
...
But really, there's something funny going on here. The Russian Ambassador to a hostile nation in the most dangerous region in the world gets shot.
Where's his security detail? Seems like he was served up.

Jesus Christ, if you're being told the Russians were responsible for the hacks you are reading "fake news"!Jay wrote:

The Times piece honestly reads like propaganda. They were obviously spoonfed a helluva lot of information from the current White House in order to generate it.
You're a confused dude. They both give the impression of patriotism. It's the golden rule of running for POTUS. Even children know that one.Finray wrote:
