I pretty much agree with Uzi by the way. There was a time when moderators needed to be mediators but not any more. Now all we need to do is get rid of the odd spamvertisement, maybe fix some minor posting error, and generally use our power to unfairly edit everyone's posts to create chaos. I think most people have grown up enough not to use the website as their personal platform for their own egos and know enough to reign things in when they step over the line. Much better than needing someone to run off to a moderator to dish out wet bus ticket slappings.

fuck this 'one post every 30 minutes unless you are one of the 7 approved members' thing.
this community is fun, people argue and bicker but we've all known one another for the better part of a decade. we don't need a moderator to police hurt feelings or 'abusive behaviour'. nobody is going to feel threatened or put-out by yet another D&ST argument. most of us are friends on Facebook ffs. we don't need moderating... just clear it out so there can be as much unfettered activity as possible. let some air into the place.

Wouldn't mind Pace51 being unbanned, all he had to do was stop posting real world facts threads.coke wrote:

No clue who Pace was. But how about them MarkooEst? And that Romanian flyboy, who went apeshit and tried to get all his posts deleted that way.
We have the same in Norway - at least it makes you appreciate every precious sip...Ultrafunkula wrote:
Estonia is true cheap beer paradise for Finns. Our alcohol taxation is mental compared to Estonia. It really goes like this: Finnish breweries brew beer. The beer then sails on huge trucks over to Estonia to alcohol markets. Finns go on the same ferries (that carry the beer) to the same fecking stores to buy the same damn beer that came with the vessel. They then load the beer in their cars and drive back to the harbor for about two minutes and go home. I'm not shitting you. This is the life cycle of Finnish bulk beer and the government morons are wondering why we do this. Because it's fucking cheaper you idiots!!! And in revenge they up the alco taxation because of consumption is "too high". Really the consumption has been going downhill for the last years, especially among young people. Damn mongs making decisions...
he was called Ioan or something and was adamant he was going to become a commercial jet pilot because he played flight sim in his peasant kottedzh for 6 hours a day.Ultrafunkula wrote:
