No. It was probably just a mistake. The guy is from the NYC area and is around my age. Our SS's are probably similar and someone put in a wrong digit.

So I am going through the process to become a Customs and border patrol officer. I passed the written test and now have a physical and structured interview to give. They may take my fingerprints at the interview.
I don't recall committing any crime that would show up on a finger print test. Still nervous about giving fingerprints up to the government though.

I considered a position with CSIS (Canadian CIA) until they wanted my full sex history, the name and number of everyone in my family, and a full statement on my drug use history. All asked for to ensure you can't be blackmailed...or at least to reduce the damage if you are. Fingerprints seem pretty tame as far as privacy invasion goes.SuperJail Warden wrote:

i live in the town where our main snoopers are based (GCHQ, our version of the NSA) and briefly considered their vacancies page.
when you get into the job application documentation, it basically says right on pg.3 to not bother if you've been involved with illegal drugs or any sort of criminal activity in the last 6 months. they know. maybe it's 12 months. but it basically says 'wait and apply later because we will find out'. kinda funny. great pay, but i don't think i could ever work in a job with an employer who knows so much shit about you. i like that my current boss doesn't know i go to wine orgies.
