Dunno why you're all hating on nyte, he seems perfectly normal to me.
It stems from my trolling days of BF2 where I kept spamming everyone with my sniping videos/skills.  In all honesty, I was pretty much the first sniper player who made sniping videos (and of decent quality where I film several kills in a sequence instead of single clips).  It got to my head a bit so I spammed the shit out of this forum and many others.  And the PR stunt actually worked out quite well (but also grew the animosity fanbase).

I have to say I definitely wasn't the best, but I definitely held my own (ie. better than all the WOoKies, and most of the infantry medic players on this forum as is evident from these stupid sniper competitions that they would set up).  Whereas I played to win, many other snipers that were bashing me played for KD or some other weird ass agenda like getting super long range kills.  I had beef with the WOoKies for quite awhile.  I got along great with the TOP crew because they were all about winning in the most trolliest way possible.

There were a few people that would rape face against me.  Mainly the TOP crew (because they actually had a cohesive team of trolls) and several of the new CQC snipers that came on the scene like Hintakari or whatever.

But alot of the animosity still exists within the veteran members here for me being cocky/arrogant.  Throughout the whole time here though, I have personally never belittled anyone's BF2 skills.  I actively tried to improve others with guides and advice (albeit written in a cocky tone).  The only times I really bite back is when the attack becomes somewhat personal and/or dragged out but I will never initiate it.

But yeah, I would consider myself fairly "normal".

Dim Sum is spotty in Toronto, to say the least. I've been the same place twice within a month and had radically different experiences. Usually I try to only go at 3am after I've been drinking for 4 hours. I find it tastes best after lager.
They serve Dim Sum at 3 AM?  Wtf?  Where is this?  And everything tastes better after 4 hours of drinking.

In Hong Kong, I went to a place called Tim Ho Wan which serves by far the best BBQ Pork Buns I have ever had.  It is a Michelin Star rated restaurant (1 star) and is also the cheapest Dim Sum and Michelin Star restaurant in the world ($9 for my full dose of Dim Sum).
The pork buns are <3. Place is retardedly busy though.

Pochsy wrote:

I've been to Chinatown in Toronto once and I got food poisoning.
I went at around 8 PM I think so we got a table like right away.  There's a few locations now.  I believe only one of the locations is actually Michelin Star rated (the one near Mong Kok) but I could be wrong about that.  That was the one I went to (it's located in a somewhat shitty looking area).

Unfortunately I can't read Chinese so I was only able to use the picture menu (a by-product of my white-washing).  I know that there were more items on the Chinese menu but I wasn't sure what they were.  People were raving about the Glutinous Rice thing but it didn't look tasty enough for me to try it.  The Shiu Mai was perfect (but a bit too small) and the Har Kow was crafted quite well (it didn't fall apart or stick to the steam paper).

Yeah, I don't remember particularly good Dim Sum in Toronto.  I know there are a few really expensive Dim Sum places here but never tried them (because they are really expensive... like $5-7 for 3 BBQ Pork buns wtf?).

Although Tuk-tuks are not worth it, it is worth it to go on it at least once to experience a "rickshaw" ride.

I feel like you are an idiot if you don't agree with my point that it's hot outside and air-conditioned within public transit/malls.  I don't even have to explain this point.

So in conclusion, you're a retard if you think my advice is "retarded".  I backed up my points with sources (and experience).  You back it up with baseless experience.

I suggest someone to not follow my advice at all versus following them.  See how it turns out (considering that almost all my advice is cautionary action, not immediate action which requires like no fucking work).

I guarantee you if I post this on TripAdvisor and someone else posts another which says NOT to follow my advice, I will win hands-fucking-down.
dude almost all your links are 5 years old.  I was helped by and talked to the tourist police.  I rented a motorbike.  I took taxis in and out of Bangkok, paid by meter and straight up with maybe a $2 difference.  You went to one place in Thailand.  Oh and the Full Moon Party.  Sounds like an amazing Thailand experience.  So you visited a street in Bangkok and a Euro travel destination party? Tell me more about your wild adventures.

I also went through a Thai DUI checkpoint (on one of many motorbikes I rented where I wasn't scammed at all), partied at bars until 6 am in Bangkok, Chaing Mai and Pattaya, partied for the Songkran Festival (Thai New Year), visited temples, took boat rides, went to Koh Phi Phi, Koh Samui, Full Moon Party. I have pictures but not as much as you because I wasn't wanting to be bothered with pointing a go pro at my face for 5 hours a day.

Sure, since you asked...

Went to Ayutthaya Historic Ruins and checked out several of the temple and ruins.  Went to some Tiger Temple.  Went to Sirocco Sky Bar.  Went to various clubs in Bangkok (along Sukhimvit).  Went to Koh Samui and rented a car.  Went to Wang Sao Waterfall and dived in it.  Scuba dived off of Koh Phangan.  Went to the Full Moon Party.  Went to Chattuchak Weekend market.  Went to Amphawa Floating Market.  Went to Siam Paragon and Century World.  Stayed at 2 different places in Bangkok (A-Loft hotel located in Sukhimvit and Marvin Suites which is located in the financial district).  Hailed several taxis in most of these places and some wanted to negotiate a fee instead of turning on meter.  Got approached by a fellow with the "tourist police" shirt on telling me that Grand Palace is closed at 2 PM for a "special religious event" when it was clear it wasn't (because I did my research).  Actually saw a gay couple getting yelled at by these Thai folks for scratching their bike (which I assume was rented but I didn't stay for the whole argument).  Went to the Calypso Cabaret show.  Went to a Muay Thai show but only stayed for the 1.5 hours because the whole thing was 4 hours long.  All within the span of 1.5 weeks.

It's an amazing place to live if you're an old retiree.  Because everything is so damn cheap there (except for the stuff in malls generally).  I find that 4-5 star hotels in Bangkok are priced at like a third of the same quality hotels in NYC.  You can live like a king there.

Although I didn't see this, I read reports of how some ex-pats get accosted by local Thais because they have a feeling of self-entitlement (because they have money).  The closest thing I saw to this was the old fat white men going out with young Thai hookers and some random Thai local was yelling at her (which I assume was derogatory).

lately a few members on this forum have really started to literally chill me with their weird-veering-on-sociopathic posting tone. ilocano comes across as someone who would happily spend $60k a year lay on viennese couches talking about his 'inner desires' and 'life goals' and 'self-actualization' via 'transference'. macbeth seems like he has been semi-lobotomized and now can only produce simple sentences and phatic uterrances, normally paratactic and anhedonic in tone, about foreign women and his intentions for the day. nyte has suddenly come back out of the blue after however-many-years and has the simple, unabashed, un-self-conscious habit for self-promotion and self-flattery, like someone hooked on an IV-drip to percocet from an easton ellis novel. this is very strange.

the way everyone talks so casually about foreign hookers makes me think we have some radically different personal ethical- and value- systems in place. why would anyone want to degrade themselves by supporting a foreign sex trade? it's like a tacit admittance that your life sucks and you have failed as a grown person in several major ways.

Why would you support south-american narco-terrorism for your funs? People would have had their heads cut off or been thrown in a dog-pit so you could get your ounce of blow.

OK shut up now.

i think i've done cocaine less than any other drug, but not excepting myself of doing it, no. however that is an indirect consequence of my consumption. no different really from me accusing you of guilt in sweat-shop slavery, or of child-mining and slavery in west africa because of your gadgets. the coke trade is ugly, and i think coke is the ugliest drug. people portraying me here as a 'cokehead' is probably just because people tend to associate powder-drugs with coke. not so. i say no to cocaine 99% of the time. not that it matters though.

personally porking some poor person because of your sexual inadequacy/incompetency at home is far more personally shaming and guilt-ridden than putting a few lines of powder up your nose. don't think there's much argument, there. the cocaine trade encompasses most of the wealthy-west, and everyone likes to partake, at all levels of society. people going out to east asia to lay some dispossessed young girl are a different order of personal cretin.

Whether the consequences are direct or indirect I don't see that it matters really, and hardly anyone dies over prostitution.

That little bag of marching powder has real people's blood all over it.

people going out to east asia to lay some dispossessed young girl are a different order of personal cretin.
I wouldn't do it, or boast about how cheap it is either.

so does your smartphone. if you wanted to take full responsibility for the consequence of every luxury good a consumer can enjoy in the west, you'd never buy anything. it's a silly point. and again, it's several levels of ethical responsibility removed from sticking your penis in someone. to blame the narco-state of mexico/central america on western consumption is more than a little simplistic and facile.
