Meh. A nice porche would do me just fine.
a ramp costs 25 bucks
and tracks are safe anyway so you probably wont become wheelchair bound.
id rather slide in the grass and stop then have my momentum carry me into a wall anyway

for a fatty you're a serious intellectual lightweight.
I'm assuming the haters in this thread had the same criticism for the Veyron. It's ok if you like the status quo rather than pushing the envelope. Why try to top out the speedo on your car, the speed limit is better. Yeah. Ok.
There's no haters. Liking a car because it the fastest car in a straight line and dropping enough money to buy a house on it is silly is all. You can out do it with 1/10th the money is all I was saying.
e: buying a car that will never realise its potential in your hands is a waste. Luxury cars are expensive, and they are luxurious. Value (I guess) for money. You will enjoy the luxury.
fastest production car ever? Sure, you could say it is, but you will probably never experience it. Not even on a race track. It will spend its life in a agarage for fear of being scratched, or sitting at 60-100kms an hour for the majority of its life. Great value for money.

Nigs please, reach people aren't going to buy that, it doesn't come with an instantly recognizable status. They are going to buy a Lambo or Ferrari for that. The Venom comes with nothing remarkable. It's the fastest production car in the world? Awesome, you'll have to put a sign on the back window saying that fact because no one will know.
Drive an aventador and you will turn heads. Drive a 458 italia and you will turn heads. And you don't need to tell them why they are turning their heads. Status built in standard.

Rich people only have enough money and garage space for one super car.
I just think titles like "fastest production car" are a bit silly, not because of the price of the car or that it uses a lot of petrol. It just seems like the type of thing little kids care aboutStingray24 wrote:

when you think about what it really means, it doesn't mean much..
they just put a big fuck off "american muscle" engine in an extremely lightweight chassis with the sole intention of going at the fastest speed in a straight line
I mean thats great and all and if you had a spare 4 or 5 mile runway then i guess it would be fun driving it around there for a bit but when it comes to everything else (even track days) i'd much rather have something like an F12, where you know they've had teams of people looking at every detail of the car's performance, the exterior and interior
I'd want to be able to look at every bit of the car and think "wow, that's nice", not just feel like they got rid of absolutely everything that wasn't necessary to get to top speed on an infinitely long road, just to be able to say "hey man, i've got the fastest (production) car in the WORLD!
and it's not really 'pushing the envelope' especially when they only can only really use that title based on a technicality
"fastest production car available to the public", like someone spending $1mil+ on a car wouldn't know how to get the speed limiter removed if he wanted to"While a Veyron Super Sport did run 267.8 mph, Bugatti speed-limits its production vehicles to 258 mph. Thus, at 265.7 mph the Venom GT is the fastest production car available to the public."
but you're not pushing the envelope unless you do, man
Well they've kinda cheated haven't they, the Bugatti is first and foremost a car, it's an incredibly good-handling car, it's a comfortable car (even at top speeds reportedly). It weighs 2 tons, has leather seats, and adjustable everything and heaters and a radio
that's just a shell with an engine in it, show it a corner and it'll oversteer off into a fiery mess. Try to live with it for a day and you'll have back and headache.
Sure, it's technically road legal, but you couldn't live with it. The Bugatti, on the other hand, you could.
So congrats and all, but meh.

You don't understand Finny, it's pushing the envelope.
The fact you have to tell people why they should be looking at the car is irrelevant.

Non-Americans are just jealous.
Of what lol
