I get my casual clothes from Simons, which I think only operates in Canada. They have an in house brand that's pretty affordable for the quality. Like $100 maple syrup bucks for some good chinos.

distressed/pre-ripped clothes, loud graphics/prints and stonewashed effects are big signs of douchiness

especially when paired with a brown leather tan shoe. bonus points if the jeans are 4+ inches too long at the bottom, and pool like the chernobyl reactor elephant foot.

the hallmarks of a truly toxic fashion sense.

If a girl is pretty, getting to see a bit of leg is nice. Men wearing ripped jeans are clearly acting gay.

They're done with lasers now

I like lasers, my company is ditching a laser machine and I think I'll take it home.

What do u wear for pants if not jeans? Maybe I'm too casual or I dress like I'm 12 still but if I'm not wearing joggers or shorts I'm pretty much always in jeans

These are Amiris btw. I can't afford to spend a thousand dollars on jeans or pull the style off but they seem like something u would wear. U like high end hipster stuff and they seem more like your style unless the uzique I used to know has drastically changed. I thought u were really into raw denim as well or maybe that was Ken

Rthki I said under 300. Most jeans I own I bought used for cheap from consignment stores. 100-300 is a sweet spot for anything new though. Spending more is retarded unless you're rich

U can spend 50 bucks on jeans that get all fucked up in the wash or maybe a hundred more for something well made and they will last you literally years and fit you perfectly.
if you want to spend money on jeans, then look at Detroit Jeans Company or Brooklyn Denim. Personally, I think carhartt duck pants are way more comfortable.

Could burn much "cooler" things into a pair of jeans with laser tech than a distressed graphic.

uniqlo are decent for something cheap. i actually get some of my work trousers from there. disposable/replaceable stuff. every now and then they'll do a collaboration with a boutique or designer and the items are always generally pretty good. outerwear, especially. they're quite sought after here because they sell out fast and are really good price/quality.

i wear a lot of plain black/white cotton tshirts. i'm not sure about brands in the states, but in the UK/EU we have some mid-range options like cos or arket. pretty sure they're owned by the same company as H&M/topshop but are more of a 'quality' mid-range option. works solidly. if you're looking for brands that do simple tees, check out something like APC or norse projects. i would avoid all those 'boutique' or 'streetwear' brands that charge $180 for a tshirt, commes des garcons or supreme or whatever. that shit is lame. fashion brands the world over regard tshirt-buyers as rubes. that's where they make all their money. no way do those things even in premium cotton cost more than $10 to make.

i wouldn't buy all saints anymore, not tshirts anyway. they tend to do lots of graphic/print designs, which i avoid. i strongly feel that grown men should not wear tshirts with retarded 'edgy' designs on them or something proclaiming their dumbass interest in ghostbusters or whatever the fuck.
ya uniqlo is pretty good sometimes. thanks tho, we don't have cos or arket out here but there's quite a few APC storefronts i will check it out. i think i have a hoodie from them or maybe it was AA but i've never looked into their t shirts.

i hate graphic tees too or clothing with the brand plastered on it. i cringe when i see someone wearing a balenciaga t shirt it's basically just a flex saying "look at me i spent 500 on a t shirt". maybe i'm just somewhat envious but still

i'm not gonna lie i loved that band t shirt fad that was around like 5 years ago or so. not on guys but on girls it looked cute. like hot melrose girls walking around in a slayer t shirt and tight distressed jeans <3

APC are very different from american apparel. thank god.

haven't band t-shirts always been a thing? there was a recent fad? i mean, sure, if you want to support an artist by buying some merch or whatever. but grown men in rick and morty t-shirts need to stop. or t-shirts with jokes or witty quips on them. if you feel the need to proclaim your interests or personality using a screen-printed chest, you are pond life.

Text tees are awful. I think one of the worst gifts you could buy for someone is an opinion tee with your opinion on it, or something you think is their opinion. I was gifted one that I'll only ever wear to bed, proudly detailing something like a 14 hour day video game schedule. Thanks…

I think wearing a faded ninja turtles retro tee around the house is probably fine if you're a dad. It just seems like dad clothes.

Why do you want to be like everyone else and wear jeans? Be your own person. Buy a collection of 90's UFO pants to wear.

this will probably be a mainstream thing soon. billie eilish wears shit like that

zique american apparel was pretty decent quality when it was still made in the US. maybe not everything but i had a few pieces that i was happy with. a lot of these brands used to be pretty good actually like i was saying with old school lucky. the band t shirt thing was where celebrities and hipsters wore like metal/rock band t shirts even though most of them probably weren't even legit fans of the bands. it was just a cool thing to do or something. band t shirts in general have been around forever but this was a specific fad. like i doubt some random hot 18 year old is a fan of slipknot (i don't even like that shit) but they would still wear shirts like that

it's like the carhartt thing. it's a blue collar work brand but u got hipsters in DTLA wearing carhartt beanies when they've probably never swung a hammer in their life. i'm not judging them because i actually have some carhartt gear myself. i've also worked with my hands before so i think i have somewhat of a right to wear it without being a hipster lol

thanks btw jay. brooklyn denim looks gas. i need to find out where i can try some of their stuff on in person when this corona lockdown settles down. i checked out detroit jeans but honestly don't like their fits. i'm sure its probably quality shit but just not for me. also not a fan of raw

billie eilish is such a cute girl. It is an absolute shame I cannot express that more often. I resent that I aged out of the Pixie Manic Dream Girl fetish.

who are these madmen using the company machines to watch porn? I read the news sometimes, and even then I'm 1/2 expecting a crack team of radically diverse commandos to bust down my door and dish out the pain
