* I work for Sun Microsystems (since 1998)
* I own, maintain and write all the software for GothicAuctions (since 1998)
* I spend some time customizing my 2006 Ford Mustang (coupe, legend-lime) that I bought three hours after getting my learner's permit. (I'm in my late 20s, but never lived in a city where I needed a car, until now).
I also waste a lot of money getting into and out of a lot of "hobbies" and on my hardware. I've probably spent $20,000 on hardware so far this year, but I don't own a sofa, table, lamp and until six months ago - a bed. One of these days, I'll have more brains than spending cash, but by then I'll probably be middle aged and trapped in an unsatisfying marriage with kids that I'd like to TK while the wife's away and will remember these days fondly.
I haven't been gaming for quite awhile, but decided to get back into it because it's easy to get stressed between my career and my hobby (the auction site, above) and needed a way to force myself to take a breather and relax. BF2 is the only thing that has interrupted my normally 80+ hour work weeks the last month.

No, sorry, Shire of Turmstadt is an SCA region here in Germany, the region where I live. Years ago I saw two guys dressed up like you on the picture fighting with bamboo swords directly in the middle of the town. Asked them wtf they are doing, and they told me they were members of the SCA. So I started looking around and read a little bit -- interesting stuff, especially for a archaic persons like me , but unfortunately: no time for that.IronGeek wrote:

Oh yea, i also watch bleach.
I play acoustic guitar (mostly bluegrass, yes I am a redneck ). I pretty much suck at it, but its still fun. Martin HD28L!
I also like to mountain bike, although I seem to never have time for it. I've got a Trek 4900. Fairly cheap, but good for me.
I enjoy watching/going to college football games (American football of course ), especially my Alma Mater, the University of Tennessee. Don't know if you'd consider that a hobby, but it takes up a lot of my weekend time in the fall.
And, like CMDR_Dave, I like to spend all day browsing the BF2S forum.
Oh, and does drinking beer count as a hobby?

Hey guys. Yeah, I've been up to my ass in school work. This combined with the generic family crisis=no BF2 for me. Anyway, it's good to be back in action. I did notice that no one is progressing in their stats all that much. What's up? I also notice that blazin and the #2 guy made Lt. Cool stuff. Catch ya fellas. I'll look for you on Xfire.mikeshw wrote:

I love Subs.
Aww, no! A couple of my mates are into Anime. It pisses me off.
I'm in a band. I'm guitarist/vocals. We're called Passive/Aggressive and this is the website I'm in the middle of making, (gonna finish it too if I'm bothered.)
This isn't advertising. It's just a fun band. There are no plans to go worldwide... yet...

next time i'm in wellington i'll look into your band. good logo too, took me a while to realise what it was.
i used to be the manager of a friends band, until we had a fight and i stopped. i play guitar though so i'm looking for other members at the moment. no singing though, under any circumstances whatsoever.

Cheers nzjafa, it's nice to be appreciated. I made that logo up just to fill in space until I could think of a better one, but it might stay there now.

I drink 2 litres of beer every week and 1/2 a bottle of Chivas. Lol. Ever since I got laid low by thumb/ankle/hamstring injuries I haven't been doing a lot. But hey, there IS life outside BF2.
I play rugby (U-19, Club, Police), Tennis, Squash. I hit the gym every single day of the week. I thai-box (currently looking for sparring partners). I Smoke (umm. lol.) I drink a lot of alcohol. I club once or twice a week to hit the dance floor to unwind. I give tuition twice a week and piano lessons (to pay for my bleeding university fees once I get out of the force). I swim whenever the sun is out, hang out with my darling, babelicious god-sister. And I come here a lot. A LOT.
And I eat apples.

I havent updated that page but very very conseritavely driving the last time I went to the track it went the 1/4 mile in 11.5 @ 116 letting out 400 feet before the end.
If you estimate the 0-60 time from the track times thats a 2.93 second 0-60. Its not an exact time and its just a rough calculation.
It takes up alot of time in the spring and summer going to shows and racing it. Its 650HP at the crank and its a daily 26mpg driver.
With any luck and a better transmission next year it should be a low 10 second car thats driven all summer long.
