WHen that 17 minutes reaches 0 it will rase back to to an hour or so. Did it to all of us unfortunatly.
i try to download it and it says this file is for subscribers only, so do i have to pay for this?

Ok, I am insanely confused by the whole Beta process and I would love to understand something. It'd be awesome if there was a sticky detailing the key process and maybe like a marker that would let players know if they can get keys to join btw. Anyway...
I signed up for fileplanet on Aug. 28th for reasons unrelated to the 2142 Beta. Once in, I thought I'd give a shot to the beta test thing and I filled out a form that asked some questions about my computer and habits. I submitted that form and to my surprise, a page came up confirming that I had gotten a key to the Beta and that I was all set to go, just had to download the client.
Now, I thought that they had run out of keys by then and we had to wait until the open Beta to join. I understand that today they gave away thousands of keys more, but I got mine on the 28th when I thought they had closed it. Anyone know what the deal is?

Is it that you got a key on th 28th? - not sure how that happened - unless they released some more keys to subscribers before making it available to non-subscribers...
Or that some non-subscribers could get a key? - that's just 'cos it's no longer limited to fileplanet subscribers only...
Or that it's 'closed' but seemingly 'open', though now closed again? - that's possibly 'cos you're misunderstanding the term 'closed' - in this context it means 'limited'.

Software Developer here. Dual Screen Desktop. Laptop. Access to several Servers via Remote Desktop. And quite a few wait times waiting for "processes" to complete. Check on BF2S on one of the screens, do work on the others. Multi-tasking.DirtyMexican wrote:

The updated version of the Beta fucking crashes after about 25 min in a round, very fucked up. And if you go under the Titan it laggs like fucking hell. Cause of this bullshit i got a k/d ratio of like .2

So should I wait to patch it? I am still downloading today's revision, but there's still quite a few servers that haven't upgraded. I don't like the glitching and the bugs, but i'd rather have that than a CTD or whatever every round.lxcpikiman wrote:
