Ok well I just came off a round of using this beast - I wasn't expecitng much to be honest, slow, no AA capability, no guided weaponary of any desrcription. But when I actually got a chance to use it, god damn, it's a killing machine.

I think I flew well enough to become qualified to give out a few tips on flying it, so here they are:

1. Fly carefully - 50% of my deaths were from crashing into things, this jet handles very much differently from anything in vanilla, so take your time and be careful.

2. Before embarking on an attacking run, decide in advance what type of target you are going for. If you are expecting to see a chopper to attack, come in with guns selected, otherwise come in with the bombs selected (regardless of whether you have any or not).

3. In the instance that you are attacking a helicopter, you will have your guns selected. Make sure you are coming in slow enough to get a shot off at him! Take you time with the shot, it takes VERY few hits of the Su25's cannon to destroy a chopper, but these guns overheat very quickly. Take your time and be sure you're shots count.

4. If you are not going for a chopper, then you'll have your bombs selected. Fly in reasonably slowly again, letting the HUD on bomb mode find your targets. Once you have located and selected a target, decide whether you wantto use bombs or rockets, asjust your trajectory to hit him, then let fly.

5. You should never be just flying around in rocket mode. They don't allow for a quick, effective, snap shot against anything, and won't highlight targets on the HUD like in bomb mode. Stick in bomb mode and let the HUD do the annoying part of finding the target.

6. The bombs have similar charachteristics as the bombs in AF, slow and heavy. They won't fly miles in front of you like the bombs from the F35 for example would. They are mighty powerful, so if you see a group of tanks, spam all four of these babies on them to rack up the kills (My record is 5 with one set of bombs).

7. Rockets are not too powerful, but you can hold down the fire button to shoot them off really quickly, and it doesn't take too long to get used to them. Can take out most vehicles with practice, but can lead to crashes due to the nature of firing them.

8. Guns overheat quickly but pack a punch. Excellent for choppers (a 2 second burst should do it). Untested against infantry and armour as of yet.

I think that's about it. Go out there and enjoy it!

The gun can do heavy damage or kill the Tanks, and the gun a a good splash damage to spray into an area with inf.

Great now I just need some advice on the MiG-25. What's the difference in the missles?

One is long range one is short range:

Slot 1 : Guns
Slot 2 : Short range
Slot 3 : Long range

I haven't had much chance to fly it, but in the small amount of time that I did, I've noticed that the long range ones turn slower. Maybe they also have a longer lock-on range too?

The good thing about he plane is that you have four single bombs
