umm, if you dont know the artillery please leave it to the pros, not to be snobby but this is one of few things i do in the mod, im trying to join that " www.total-war.com " german side as a artillerys man.

I havn't used the arty the way its supposed to yet. So far I've just parked it within visual range of flags and when I think I see something I shoot. I've gotten lots of kills this way, including tanks and other vehicles.
the Arty vehicles are l33t, but I usually have to do everything myself since nobody calls for arty, But in a few weeks when everybody gets used to PoE2 and gets used to the new arty it should go nicely

What is pixel shooting?
i actually found it more difficult to do it like that... easiest way i found is to be commander... then shoot at a flag so that the projectile goes OVER a flag... then when u shoot quickly go back to commander mode (already double zoomed) and see if the artillery goes over the flag... if it doesnt you have to increase distance... if its too far then u decrease distance (you do this by changing angle of cannon.. up or down) then if left or right is wrong.. adjust this too
eventually you can follow things on the map and where your arty hits using flags as reference.. plus i think arty is most useful when they are at a flat (capturing it) and thats when its easiest to hit something... takes a little practice but soon you can hit em pretty fast.

The walkie talkie is also used to boost the range of your words. IF you spot an enemy boat with the thing out itll be on everyone omn your teams map.
Arty rocks! It took a while to figure waht was happening but after that it was great! using just visual aiming is difficult because of the slow turn of the turret but you can take out two tanks with one HEAT round!
When i get binoculars out and click it says call for arty within 10 seconds then i switch 2 walkie talkie but nuthing happens am i suppose 2 be commander?
No, it means there's no one in the arty
any tips on how to fire the arty I use 40 shots on 1 target and I need to get the signal 20 times because it times out way to fast

I downloaded it yesterday night,installed it today and just played around a bit,alone with the vehicles in a local game....
So,the arty(seems to be great,like in BF1942,only better) only works when you have more than one player around?
You can't just request,then get out and spot a target and get back in again?
Maybe I should take a few days off from the stress of keeping my lazy butt in the sniper top50 and play POE2,looks amazing from what I've seen.
BTW,do you guys like my new sig?
