Texas holdem.

speaking of poker, I was at my local casino last night, and I was playing 1/2 no limit. max buy in 300 dollars. So I'm like ok cool. I sit down at the table with 300. I'm up about maybe 40+ bucks within 5 hands and I'm like sweet this is awesome. So I end up getting King Jack off suit and I just call to see the flop (affraid of the ace) it comes J 10 6 . I raise 25 $ and some dude raised me 100$ so I'm like ok I call. Then it came J 10 6 4
I check and the dude put me all in. I'm thinking he either has trips from the flop or he was bluffing. I figured he was bluffing trying to protect the pot becuase it was over 400 bucks now. So I call. The last card came out and the final board was J 10 6 4 5. He ended up playing a J 4 off suit (wtf ) and beat my K J with 2 pair. Poker is great to an extent, I pratcially live for it down at the casino but that was the worst bad beat and shittiest call I could ever make. Anyone have any bad beats ??

dude, that wasnt even a bad beat. the only thing u could beat is a bluff and u made a terrible call. stick the the penny ante. i could go on telling you some REAL bad beats but i won't waste your time. gg

how about an all in with the flop being 6 10 J me having pocket queens going all in on the flop. DUDE CALLS ME WITH 4 5 of hearts and catches runner runner for the straight. 6 10 J 3 7 heh I had to get that one off my chest . similar cards I get knocked out on I know that K J was a stupid call. It took me forever to fall asleep that night.

when you gain some skill in a game like Poker, Pool, or even BF2, a lot of times your worst nightmare turns out to be some noob beginner with no real concept of the finer points. Dont know how many times, I've gotten stuck playing pool with some asshole who ruins a great break with crappy shot after crappy shot. Same goes for casino blackjack tables

i feel ya man, i have some bad luck too sometimes but that's poker. im still up over 1 grand from playing online though so i dont plan on quitting anytime. do u play online?

edit: of course its a risky call, thats y in the long run you will beat him...

I go toe to toe and max the pot for all it's worth and at the end the guy turns over a 2 and 5 of hearts to straight flush me to hell. To add injury to insult, he gets his name called out and they give the fucker a hat with the rest of my money.

you need to play 7 ball. Forgot how you rack it, but you have to call every shot.

I play online for free only. Heh I like to see my oppent when I'm playing for cash money. I play on ultimate bet

If playing (8 ball) with me for money you will call every shot, kiss, and rail.
Never play doubles for money with a partner you don't know.
Don't play 9-ball if you don't like slop.

yea aces are usually only good for winning a small pot or losing a big one. you just have to know when to hold'em and when to fold'em
