as many of you may know, i argue alot on this forum. But many others do as well.

and there are those that say that "arguing on the interweb is teh lame!!!11", i couldnt agree more, but personally, its in my nature to argue.

I am that kid in class that will stand up to a teacher that isnt teaching right.

I would/have argued with complete strangers at bus stops about religion, laws, and things of that nature. Arguement is one of the most advanced skills humans are capable of, other than those who will give in at any sign of disagreement.

so i was wondering for all you arguers out there, do your habits on a day to day basis transfer over to the internet and vice versa?

edit: grammar change. bear with me, im a tad drunk.

Yes. I argue, but I lose my intelligence about half way in.

Hey, got an idea - You wanna be accepted as "normal" then try this one thing:
Change the word "argue" to "debate" - and poof you're a fucking intellectual

...and YES!, I love to debate, with anyone, anytime, and anywhere.  However, with a smile and for fun.

The first thing I remember my Grandfather saying about me when I was three yers old was this to my Dad:
"You're right, he is an argumentitive little prick isn't he."

Nothing wrong with arguing, even on the internet.

I like debates, but only ones with a purpose or significance. Sometimes I can tease out some new way of thinking, which would show that the time spent arguing was not time wasted.

Another reason I like debating on the internet and over MSN and such with friends and strangers is that firstly, you're talking about a topic which is interesting and which doesn't involve too much prerequisite knowledge about the other person, and secondly because these conversations are self perpetuating and you don't need to spend to much effort in thinking "what can I say next that will be interesting?"

Loved it spawn, i think i took a screenie of your wonderful high score at the end of the map too somewhere. For a guy that posts non stop on a sniper forum why didnt you pull out your sniper gun and spray arti island instead of acting like an ass.

arguing with people? It gets old once you're older. You'll outgrow it, after you lose jobs, wives, friends, family....

Considered killing me eh, why didnt you just jump in front of a bullet as sniper and respawn as medic ? come to think of it you did your best to hold onto the kit for aslong as you could, so I think you are lying. No one wants a easily avoided extra death at the end of the map so I think you appreciated the revive but just want to argue as its all part of this same titled thread

God, i think there needs to be one forum for every argument on the whole of bf2s, that way people who care about the actual topic of a thread can just follow the descussion of it, and not have to scroll over massive quote pyramids of pointless flaming.

I just like making people feel inferior.

That sounds mean, until you realize that 99% of people are inferior.

Stryyker, we should team up and create some sort of undefeatable, morale/self-esteem deflating, debating/arguing machine of sex, love, and sarcasm.

I love to "debate" as well.  It is in my nature to question things and look for some reason or rationality. I also have no tolerance for stupid or ignorant people. I have a gift and I use it! I too would argue w/ teachers and anyone who wants some. That is why I got into philosophy... it is all about arguing and arguing well. Read some Plato.
