BF2S Forums You know what really grinds my gears?

1. Stupid punishers  --> When I fly a bomber and commander orders: Attack here! So I fly and see a bunch of enemy and drop my bombs, but that commander is right in the middle of those tanks, APCs, vodniks, etc. so he gets TKed and punishes before I can say Sorry! I mean get a clue commanders.

2. Commanders who TK u for a plane or chopper and then fly around as commander, and ur teammates don't want to vote for mutiny because they r too dumb to understand whats going on........duh!

3. The fact that a bunch of people got their ranks and awards before those updates, but now its changed so that others can't get those high numbers   <--- fair is not it?

4. But most of all I hate the American thought: We r free! We have democracy! We have liberty! Communism sucks! Dudes, most of u don't even know what those words mean. I f u ever went to school u would know that by using such words u just show how dumb u guys r!!!!!!!! Not to offend anyone, but try to think outside the box: not everything that ur president tells u is true, especially that his IQ is below the level of a chair. But on the other hand, since Americans chose him as a president and a leader of their country, it just shows how stupid the whole nation is. I mean who is more stupid, the stupid or the ones who chose him as a leader?

I know I will get a bunch of flame, but who cares thats the truth.

I'm curious as to where you live, because unless it's Britain or Australia, Israel, or a few other places, you're either living in tyranny (and since you have BF2, I doubt that), or a place that's free thanks to the fact that AMERICANS and other countries with actual armies defend your country for you. The fact that AMERICA is responsible for liberating more people from murdering tyrants than any nation EVER must really make you mad, eh?

Oh, but those evil greedy Americans, they just want oil! OK, sure, we want oil. But huh, how come we haven't demanded the Iraqis give us free oil? Because that's not our primary reason for going there! How come Iraq? Why not? There's a lot of countries in dire need of some outside attention, so might as well get started. Now that Iraq and Afghanistan are fully functioning, DEMOCRATIC countries, the world is, dare I say it, SAFER. Something the UN hasn't been able to do since it was created.

What grinds my gears is false kick reasons from pissed off mods.

Example:

Having the best game of my life at Strike on Karkand. My squad has a score of 300+, I've reached 102 points, and with 12 left on the MEC ticket, we are sure to win and I will get a gold star. Suddenly, as I approach the last MEC CP and pop a grenade at 4 MEC, I get kicked.    WTF? The the reson box comes up and says I was kicked after a successful kick vote for TKs. There was no vote, I would have seen it. I had no TKs as far as I could tell throughout the game.

Another example:

Playing a Special Forces and I just blew up the UAV trailor and the RADAR. I have yet to fire a single shot but I get booted for TKs.

Poofs standing around playing West Side Story, it's a game w/guns.  That said, if you find someone stationary don't walk up on them w/a DAO-12!  You don't know who else is around (plus it's a freakin' free knife kill) & giving them that extra warning doesn't help anyone.

People who never squad up, never.  One person squads... for everyone on the team.

Getting owned and other "teammates" letting the tanks, planes & helos go unmanned so the other team can take them & kill us.  And no tank, plane or helo support. Argh!!!

u see thats what I was saying, all u can say is freedom, democracy, and blah-blah.

I live nowhere near u guys, and actually I am from a country that u hate even more than u hate Iraq. And so far u have not defended me or my country from anything. And before u start liberating other countries liberate urs.
Also the fact that u call "liberation of other countries" usually humans call an invasion. We kicked ur ass in previous wars and we'll do it again if u decide to "liberate " us.

I do not live in UK, US, or Australia (although Austarlia is rather cool) and  yet I still have BF2 (surprised?). By the way, BF2 developers are not from US, they r from one of those "tyrrany" countries.

As for democratic safer world....... well probably 9/11 was pretty safe, or the 5 year war was safe, or the war u started in AFghanistan (did u even finish it?), Yes I totally forgot, U did make world safer by training Bin Laden.

Like I said come up with something differnet from what they say on CNN or FOX. I mean democracy and LIberty and freedom is a MYTH. If u ever went to school, or university (which I doubt from ur arguments) U would know that.

I'm american but THC_RU really does know what he's talking about... unfortunately our country is comprised of many types of people that don't exactly see things the same way (i'm from new york, and don't really appreciate the other 75% of the country below delaware). There is no doubt that president bush is completely retarded, manipulated evidence to justify a war in Iraq simply for his own oil profit, and that the current administration is filled with profiteering warmongers. I am not at all offended by his statements because they are all true. He's also right when he talks about bin laden being trained by American CIA officers in afghanistan. It's a sad fact that the American government is always looking out for who? themselves. There are virtually no instances in the last two hundred years where the American government has done something that does not directly aid them, out of pure "community service" (besides giving money to poor countries, through the UN). Cpl Jordan, you say that we were "freeing the Iraqi people from tyranny" and that everywhere else in the world is under dictatorship, etc. Well, I ask you where was the US when the massacre in Rwanda took place? Where were we during the post Vietnam war debacle in Cambodia. Millions of people died. Isn't that justification for a US intervention to save the world from evil? The answer is no. there is no money involved. there is no strategic or political reward for such actions. therefore, we did nothing.

You have to understand that the United States is a very different country from the rest of the world. If you look at our roots you see people coming over looking for opportunities (money) and trying  to get on top. that sentiment has clearly pervaded the contemporary America in that we are very self-centered and constantly looking for new ways to expand our influence and power. Unfortunately, this means taht we get involved in anything and everything that can be used to our advantage, which includes people like Osama Bin laden and Saddam Hussein, who we aided simply because it looked good at teh time. At no point did we sit down and think "hey, wtf is going to happen in 30 years?" because all we saw was the Soviet Union and wanted to nuke the whole fucking nation. Iran was pro-Soviet so we sponsored Iraq; Osama was anti-Soviet so we sponsored him. Anyone saying that we were defending liberty <rhetoric> <rhetoric> is full of shit. They're buying into a false ideal that has been propogated by our leaders since the founding of our nation. In this day and age the government can do just about anything by turning their actions into representations of their patriotic spirit, while obfuscating their true aims: money, power, influence, etc.

It's a bit depressing when you look at our nation that way, but it is (for the most part) true. In my humble opinion, it is the deep southerners who do this the most, but us northerners are guilty of this behavior as well.

When I'm an engineer, outside repairing my vehicle, and someone else on my team hops in it and drives it away.

When I'm an engineer, sitting in the MG of a Humvee or Vodnik parked next to a tank or APC repairing them and offering them extra support with my MG while I'm doing it, and someone hops in my Humvee and drives it away.

I'm MG'ing in general as any kit in the top of a Humvee or Vodnik capturing a flag or offering support and someone hops in it and drives it away.



Commanders that don't command. The ones that just run around holding as commander and not doing anything, just playing the game as a lone wolf.

This is probs my first post here, but what really gets me is that EA published the game knowing that you could only tell that A explosive was nearby, not knowing what type it was, I have been teamkilled so many times with Anti-Tank Mines thinking it was C4, and when I do realise it wasn't, bloody vehicles going too fast for me too even react. I am more cautious now however, getting out and inspecting the explosive before I go forward

On Wake Island, when people destroy the jet on the carrier right at the beginning of the round because they know they won't get it.
